Val has been a real estate broker in Houston, Texas for over 20 years.

She holds a BA in History from Vanderbilt University and has had her Texas Real Estate Brokers License since 1978. She also holds a Colorado Real Estate Brokers License. The Memorial area has been home to Val and her family since 1984 and prior that they lived in the beautiful City of Spring Valley.
During these last 20 years, Val has raised three children and served on the school board for their various Spring Branch ISD Schools, including Frostwood Elementary School, Memorial Middle School, and Memorial High School.
Since 1997 she has been a broker associate with Greenwood King Properties, a premier Houston Residential Real Estate Firm, and she has consistently enjoyed being a Top Producer for the company.

Lauren Geary
As a part of Val Lankford’s team at Greenwood King Properties, Lauren assists Val and her clients with each listing and sale, ensuring accuracy and above all client satisfaction. Growing up in Houston gives Lauren the knowledge of the city and different communities needed to be an asset to the team.
With a degree in Advertising from Texas State University – San Marcos, Lauren actively contributes to the marketing and advertising needs of Val’s team, assisting in the creation of CMAs as well as email and mailout advertising. She also brings over five years experience in the title industry, making her a valuable asset throughout the closing process.
In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with various organizations, among them the Bayou City Art Festival, Houston Downtown Alliance, and Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She is also a member of various young professional groups, including Houston Young People for the Arts, and Emerging Leaders. She and her husband, Kyle live with their dog Maggie in the Galleria area and enjoy the area’s ample dog parks and trails, as well as cooking and traveling.
